A chilling point from Paul Krugman: I dont think most political commentators have grasped how deep the rot goes. I dont think they understand, or at any rate admit to themselves, that democracy really could die just a few months from now. Think Nov. 6!

systems of many states we know of, and God knows how many we don't.
We have to win by margins big enough that they can't fudge the results.

that Bill Maher told a guest a week ago. We need a 12% margin to overcome the GOP gerrymandering, voter restrictions and the voting irregularities from hacking. That seems like a reasonable estimate to me.

Many forces are coming together to force authoritarian government on those who don't vote to stop it. Various studies have shown support for neonazis, fascism, nationalism, way too much equality. For putting an end to a century of social conservative losses at the polls. We wouldn't be the first democracy, or the 10th, that voted to destroy itself.
