What's Jimmy Carter doing? the Obamas? the Bushes? Probably fielding despairing phone calls and telling people "it's all going to work out".

None of them are going to help us out of this situation. None of them are directly responding to the outrageously insulting behavior that Trump flings at them daily (yes, HRC responds in a measured way, but she was never POTUS).

All of them believe that former Presidents should stay above the fray.
