2. It cost me less than $200 to fly my Westie from Frankfurt to Houston

Paid the cost of an extra bag out of my own pocket and Lufthansa has conditioned space on their flights.

Was flying on gov't orders, but the only special action was picking a United flight that utilized the Lufthansa plane because of it being during hot weather. Would have been free if small enough to fit under a seat as carry on.
