the indictment was 47 pages.

Technically, wouldn't it be nice if you pleaded not guilty and then were found guilty, your plea would count as perjury?

I was at an In-N-Out for the first time ever a few months ago (I live on the east coast and they aren't around here) and had to go to one because a buddy of mine from college used to rave about them and always wore his In-N-Out shirt.

I was surprised by how inexpensive they were - so that's a heck of a lot of burgers.

that cater parties, things like that. He probably had a "campaign event" (by the sounds of it he claimed everything as a "campaign event" ) and paid for it with campaign funds. I'm not saying that's what did happen, just that it's a possibility, and the price would be about right. I had a friend who did that for an engagement party.

It's being reported they paid thousands of dollars a year in bank overdraft fees, had very little money in the account,
and many thousands more on their high interest credit card balances.

They did not pay off the cards, did not stop overdrafting but meanwhile they spend illegal money on hamburgers and an expensive lifestyle?

I first thought he might have a screw loose, but she is involved,so now have no idea what they were thinking.
