(30,481 posts)Not sure how this is bad. One saying Trump should have someone he trusts, and the other saying he would make time for approval after the midterms. With the second, sounds more like it says "not now".

(1,837 posts)The Mueller investigation is over come November, at the latest, finished or not. How is that not bad?

(30,481 posts)I would even say they would work on approval sooner if Trump fires Sessions today.

(14,755 posts)I don't see any Senator willing to enable tRump on this issue....They , the GOP really support Sessions...
So, GOP is telling tRump NO, don't you dare.

(1,837 posts)Of indictments then. Its hard for Mueller to do this all by himself though when he has no institutional support.

(59,463 posts)They say the purpose of the Russian social media hacking was to make us distrust our news sources.
Shit like this misleading headline is in the "really doesn't help combat that" or the "great job making that happen" categories.
I can't figure out which.

(1,837 posts)Bloomberg is one of the sources for news I most highly trust. If Bloomberg had phrased it as, if we win the midterms, then well fire Mueller and Sessions, I wouldnt be panicking. It basically says that no matter what, by November, Sessions and Mueller will be gone.
Is McConnell more moderate than Graham? Grassley? Ha ha. Hell no! Not sure what is shit here.
Squinch
(59,463 posts)DID NOT approve firing anyone. Your OP is fundamentally untrue.
NewsCenter28
(1,837 posts)Are at the what passes for the moderate end of the GOP caucus. If the moderate end of the GOP caucus wants Sessions gone and Mueller gone, where is the senate GOP support for Mueller coming from? Corker, Flake, will both be gone in 3 months. Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski are far from the moderates they portray themselves to be. Do you really believe that John Cornyn of all people will be fighting for Mueller and Sessions it he knows Graham, Grassley, Collins wont.
This is a fundamental change for Graham, who said that firing Mueller would end the Trump Presidency. Now he supports it.
Since when is exposing the Senate GOP for what they are Russian trollery?

(1,837 posts)If done. Grassley and Graham arent just 2 senators though. They used to be 2 of the more moderate GOP senators. So, their word most likely indicates a consensus of their caucus.

(59,463 posts)"yeah, OK."
You should change your headline.

(1,837 posts)Graham and Grassley are highly influential. If it was Cruz and Lee, I wouldnt post this. Were talking highest of high-profile GOP senators here.
