Here's the difference between left-wing media and right-wing media.

Right-wing media and talking heads attack Democrats using made up smears, exaggerations, emphasizing the negatives, insinuations, and outright lies.

Left-wing media and talking heads attack Democrats using made up smears, exaggerations, emphasizing the negatives, insinuations, and outright lies.

You don't agree? Show me one left-wing media source which is as unabashedly pro-Democratic as Fox News is pro-Republican... or one right-wing news source which is as relentlessly anti-Republican as FireDogLake is anti-Democrat.

...seem to spew their most toxic venom on GOP outliers: "RINO's" like Romney and "Paleocons" like Paul. Rimjob seems to favor the squalid Gingrich now; of course his site will go lock-step for Romney in a month or two.

Relentless? Please stop hyperventilating for a moment. Divisive smack-talk is all you're doing.

Seriously.

I hadn't visited FDL in a long while until your post. Until you give specifics about how the current headlines
are "anti-Democrat" you have merely proven yourself to be a non-credible source.

As I look right now at the time of this post:

Headline 1: OWS update
Headline 2: Predictions for the Iowa Caucuses
Headline 3: Discussing minimum wage and the economy. Yup, it seems there is
a failed presidential promise in there but if mentioning it is "Anti-Democrat"
we have groupthink problems here on DU.
Headline 4: Discussing Indiana legislation creating a right-to-work state and mentioning what
Dems had to do to keep it from passing.
Headline 5: Dissection of N.C. Values Coalition head. Guess what? Not a Dem.
Headline 6: Discussion of European Recession
Headline 7: News roundup from last night. I *dare* you to find something "relentlessly anti-Democratic" in there.

So..... I await some actual proof rather than your case of the vapors.

I was thinking "When is FOX going to have Obama on and give him an un-biased platform without interruption? When are they going to get excited about Obama's campaign without a bias. Maybe even show Obama in a positive light without the lies and distortions".

There is NO opposite of FOX.

Seriously. "Pro-Democratic"? Find me a media source that is pro-Democratic and I will call it what it is: propaganda. Just like Fox.

As for what leftish media we have -- most of them are doing what they are supposed to do: providinng us with facts. Apparently, many are having an issue with what the facts reveal.

That really does seem to be what the OP wants: leftist propaganda. Not that I would call an all-Democrat-supportive media outlet "leftist." But many in the Democratic Party like to think of themselves that way.

media/journalists are supposed to be on any "side". With the rise of FOX and the use of pundits, I think folks are getting confused on the correct responsibilities of media/journalists.

You can certainly have a definite point of view and still report fact -- such as Maddow and Democracy Now! -- but I agree that what is wanted too often is "nice opinion".

that is not confined to a tiny obscure corner, let me know. I'm sick of the right wing media which is massive in this country, 99% right wing media, and 1% left wing media does not seem a proper balance.
