The president invited some black pastors to the White House. They just sat there and told him how great he was. I have some Bible reading for them.

Black people cannot stand Donald Trump.
I dont mean there is distaste for his policies and his Twitter outbursts. Im talking about a feeling of anger that knows no bounds.
Sure, its easy to find a small percentage of African Americans who swear allegiance to him and the Republican Party, but for black folks in general, Trump is a name that is more despised than Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, and that is no small feat.
The list of black grievances is long:
Trumps vitriolic attacks on NFL players who have protested police brutality;
Calling Rep. Maxine Waters names and saying she has a low IQ;
Berating sports journalist Jemele Hill;
Failing to properly condemn the white racists in Charlottesville; hiring numerous folks in his administration with racial animus;

Psychology: Stockholm syndrome, psychological response wherein a captive begins to identify closely with his or her captors, as well as with their agenda and demands.
Trump controls his zombified following much like a terrorist exploits his hostages. In his personality cult, there's a no excuse for Trump's bizarre behavior that is implausible. Trump won a hostile takeover of the GOP and sees it as his prerogative to insult the old GOP, threatening to primary anyone who speaks out of turn or tweet-rage the cowardly opposition into hiding.

All these African American pastors have a price; pony up some serious jingle and they toe the line.
Used to be, and not to many years ago, AA congregations could be had for a new church roof or a paved parking lot; that was then, this is now.

specific to just AA pastors. Maybe fame is another very attractive seduction? Many people will sell their souls for a TV appearance or an interview, a swank party with some celebrity VIPs, a first class plane ticket, a chance to goo hobnobbing with the rich and famous. That's also a marketable and profitable commodity.
