I remember that we will be privileged to hear our beloved President Obama speak at the Senator’s funeral. I wish it weren’t this sad occasion and at the same time I am so wanting to hear a real leader talk to us. It will be comforting, sobering and inspiring at the same time. I did not share much with Senator McCain in terms of policy but I bow to him for his service to our country. I mourn the loss of his civility in our political discourse and I am shocked at the disrespect he has received in death from the party he worked for his whole life.

I agree with you on Senator McCain, I too disagreed with his policies, yet he served this country proudly and paid a heavy price for five years. No man deserves the disrespect that has been heaped on him before and after his death. The GOP have lost whatever was left of their souls.
