If Trump Fires Sessions - Doesn't He Risk Sessions Testifying Against....

him? Don't you think Mueller will be interested in interviewing Sessions?

I know that the reason Trump wants Sessions gone is because he wants to fire Mueller and end his investigation. But if Mueller acts fast to get Sessions in to interview - he can at least get Sessions on the record.

I just don't see Mueller being fired that fast after Sessions is gone.

and that’s what makes him even more scary and reckless. The walls are closing in regardless of what he does; supposedly there is more than enough evidence from both Mueller and SDNY.

Sessions probably has a lot of beans to spill even though he's technically recused from the investigation, and he's had to take so much abuse from Trump that he might be inclined to tell Mueller everything he knows.

you'd damn well better tell the truth. If Sessions is fired, watch how long his loyalty lasts after he's handed a subpoena.

It's illegal to lie to Congress, too, but that sort of perjury is almost never prosecuted. On the other hand, perjury consisting of lying to a grand jury is taken much more seriously and can land you in the slammer.

regardless of Trump firing Sessions and Mueller. Then Democrats could subpoena Sessions to testify in front of congress and if Mueller is fired he could testify before congress and announce his findings. One way or another the truth is going to come out.
