Costco is a fun place to shop.. the best prices.. and like President Obama said they treat their employees well, low turn over, and their business thrives, too.
It can be done.

(9,060 posts)from the Berkshires to Boston and back again.
EVERY SINGLE FLAG was at half mast, on both public and private buildings, and a billboard sized portrait of Senator McCain was projected across the Public Radio Station building which is about the first thing you see as you enter Boston on the MassPike.
And this is a true blue state, the citizens of which vote Democratic (most of the time) in huge numbers. Obviously they love America and Americans far more than the cretins in the White House. Though I expect the White House flag during the Trump regime will no doubt be lowered to half mast if and when Putin dies.

(3,900 posts)Well, they did about a year ago. And I joined. And I renewed my membership a couple of months ago.
Not only do I get good prices on things I buy all the time, but I know that they are the anti-Sam's Club/anti-Walmart. Their owner encourages unionization, pays a living wage, offers employee benefits, etc. If you have a Costco near you, I would encourage you to check it out and reward business owners who do things the right way.
