Donald Trump’s longtime personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, has pleaded guilty to violating federal law and admitted to doing so at the direction of President Trump.

It is stunning that there are two dozen Democratic senators who are still undecided on letting Trump handpick a Supreme Court justice while he is under federal criminal investigation, especially since his pick, Brett Kavanaugh, believes that a sitting president should be considered above the law.

Democratic senators should be united in opposition to Kavanaugh, instead of letting Republican senators ram through the confirmation of a nominee who was selected to protect the president from prosecution.
Every Democratic senator must announce their opposition to Kavanaugh’s confirmation immediately.

...that they should definitely hold Kavanaugh's feet to the fire at meetings and hearings. But if the votes aren't there to block him, there's no point dying on a hill if the result is that they'll lose to a Republican who WILL vote to approve future nominees.

5. Every damn day I get an email begging for money from Heitkamp's campaign. For the past two

weeks I’ve been responding every day that she won’t get any money from me until she opposes Kavanaugh. I know it’s an exercise in futility, but it somehow makes me feel a little bit bettter to keep reminding her that there are Dems out here watching what she does.
