Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI have been ill today.
I won't bore you with the details, but let me tell you...
I came in from working outside, and plopped into a chair. I was dizzy, and I had to concentrate in order not to pass out.
MSNBC was on the TV. I can't remember exactly what they were showing, but it was something about all of Trump's evil and absurd deeds.
While watching this, my mouth started watering, and now I had to fight off both puking and passing out.
It is when you are ill and hearing about Trump that it REALLY hits you just how bizarre this whole situation is.

(5,072 posts)making it even more tempting to use some sort of crutch. I admire your fortitude of those 5 years and the courage it took to make that decision.

(17,457 posts)I wasn't a huge drinker before, but I liked to have a few drinks once in awhile. I've been on some medication that does not agree with alcohol, so I couldn't catch a nice buzz anymore...just got kind of a sick feeling. So I just decided to quit. I also quit smoking at the same time.

Well, it sounds like you're past it now (good!) so this is for anyone else who works outside and gets what feels like the flu.
Please stay well. You're one of my favorite posters!

Hydrate with drinks of choice, take long bubble baths, listen to best music of your choice, nibble on chocolates or other treats of your liking and have along hair-down talk with the nearest true-blue liberal. If all that does not work, you and the rest of us are royally screwed.....

Seriously, those symptoms sound like a lot of things I've heard about and experienced through the years including inner ear and heart issues. But, let's leave the diagnosis to a professional - especially if this happens again. Best to have yourself checked out. Hell, let's hope it's something simple like a minor dietary imbalance.
I'll even admit to being a bit of a self-righteous hypocrite because I've got friends on my ass right now about getting to see a doctor for a good physical.
LC, hope you're recovering well, and consider one of those Trump-blocker gadgets for your TV.
Would be a shame to see a perfectly good TV shot full of holes 'cause he's just going to get worse.....
