Kerry Won't Rule Out White House Bid

August 31, 2018 at 8:03 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard

Former Secretary of State John Kerry would not rule out a 2020 run for president in an interview with CBS News, and said that he plans to stay politically active during President Trump’s administration, The Hill reports.

Said Kerry: “Talking about 2020 right now is a total distraction and waste of time. What we need to do is focus on 2018. We need to win back the confidence of the country to move in a better direction and to do it in sensible ways.”

He added: “We are in a moment of crisis for our country. The world is in a moment of crisis.”

I was wearing my 'Veterans for Kerry' button, and he advised me to hang on to it. And I have.

he's currently 74. He would enter the presidency at age 76, which I feel is too old at this point. Same thing with Biden. Love them both, but I want someone that can serve 8 years without losing their mental sharpness or physical health.
