He and Nixon caused the Vietnam War to last at least 4 extra years by spiking the Johnson peace talks in 1968. When the war ended, the terms were essentially what the terms would have been in 1968. Interesting that the media, which does speak about the POWs hearing of protesters, including Kerry -- Kissinger's and Nixon's actions directly kept them captive for those extra years.
