A bit of a thankless job and it probably would have ended major political ambitions. I still think he was uniquely qualified for the job.

I would enjoy voting for him if he was on a ticket.

What attracted me to him is that literally every faction of the party is more or less amenable to him. That makes him ideal to be DNC chief.

and have the bonus of driving the rethugs crazy.

Harris could run rings around any Rethugs. Castro or Kennedy would be solid VP choices. Kennedy brings visions of Jack, Bobby and Ted. And I have loved both Castro brothers since they both showed up on the piticsl scene.

A Harris/Castro duo might really help to get out the minority vote after the way they have been treated by Trump and the Rethugs.
