I still can't understand what the big fuss about the op-ed is all about?

Here is the summary of the Op-ed.

"Trump is crazy. Bat shit crazy. And we are making sure to deal with it"

Why is that a big deal? .. when everyone.. and I mean EVERYONE .. already knows this. And I sure would hope that someone is nannying Trump.

And to me the op-ed might as well be written by Capt. Obvious. What am I missing?

have appointed themselves to decide what the president sees on his desk, what he signs, and who has access to him. We do not know what their motivations are, what interests they represent and who might be influencing them. Just because they tell us they are the “adults in the room” doesn’t make me rest easy on any level. The American people are hostages on a train that has left the rails.

Amendment proceedings to get trump's ass out.

It's not their Constitutional duty to work around an incompetent president and make presidential decisions to prop up his administration and keep it running.

It's that simple.

I thought you said you didn't understand the big deal about the op-ed?

You apparently do now so why play with words about it. They should get the ball rolling to get rid of an unfit president.

Allows dump to say the media is yet again using anonymous sources = fake news! Deep state is scared! Unite to defend me!

Provides the russiapublicans with a little bit of cover = hey, we were keeping him in check while passing these amazing policies including the uber-wonderful tax cuts and we prevented WW3!!

Provides all the russiapublicans with an opening to defend Dump and "justify" (turn up) their new found love for him.

And finally.....WHY NOW??
