IF we can get 2 pugs to switch - you know, do the "right thing!" - then we hold ALL Dems to the party line.

5. They wont vote for kavanaugh if they would give the deciding vote to GOP.

I dont think Manchin and the like ever voted to give the GOP a deciding vote. Typically, they vote to cover their asses when there is already a plurality of votes from GOP.

Right now we have 50 to 49. If murskowsky vote no its flipped. I dont know when John kyl gets seated in time. If he does before that vote, its 51 to 49 and we also need Collins or somebody else to flip.

Hirono pushed Kavanaugh on this and he didn't even remotely commit himself well. His opinions eliminate most Federal protections for both Native Hawaiians and Native Alaskans
