And now to normalize the Twilight Zone

This is really out there. Not that : "out there" is really out there anymore.

I was in a writers book group some years ago. One of the members had come up with a really neat idea for a novel. I don't remember her name and don't know if this was ever written and published. This was back when telephone psychics was the scam de jour. This member had even worked as a telephone psychic as research for her concept.

I guess you could say that I am releasing confidential information in telling this. You may say I should be thrown out of the Senate. I say, Bring. It. On.

Basically it involved an FBI agent looking for a particularly grizzly serial killer. The protagonist is a telephone psychic. She is getting phone calls from the FBI guy. She is also getting calls from the killer. Soon she realizes they are

dah dah dah

the same guy who has a double pesonality

So why is he telling us all this. My idea - at first just a joke - the person who wrote the letter:

DONALD J. TRUMP.

have a nice day

Great idea for a book. I'd probably read it. PoindexterOglethorpe Sep 2018 #1

But there is no way on god's green earth that Trump could write anything that articulate.

Trump could easily be the one who released it. He didn't have to be the one who actually wrote it ... it could have been drafted by
Stephen Miller or some other ...
Roger Stone? ...

Consider:
Trump feels that his strength is when there is this kind of shit stirred up

Maybe he - or someone else - noticed that his rallies were getting too tame. He is trying to get his base out to vote ... he is trying to literally scare up GOP wins in Nov.

He is telling his idiotic crowd that if he gets impeached it is their fault

He is completely incapable of thinking ahead at all. I don't think he feels strong when this kind of shit is stirred up. Au contraire. He feels completely threatened, which is why he lashes out and calls people childish names and so on.

A thirteen year old might huddle with his friends to write some shit, giggling about how when it gets out there the target will be crying foul. But Trump himself is the target of the op-ed, and he is completely incapable of thinking anything but grandiose things of himself.
