In trump's speech I saw: a girl wiping her nose on the flag (click play)

another girl ( I think) flashing white power sign in full camera view, and proud of herself

and the candidate that Trump is supporting flashing the white power sign to Trump, alongside of him, and Trump nodding.

I have a confession.
I disowned my family of origin 30 years ago ( not my kids, but 2 siblings and the generation above me) because a lot of them would be standing in line to see Trump today.
So when I see his audience, I actually feel a lot of gratitude for being where I am at the end of a long long journey.

and I suspect I am not the only one..

So, without pretense or presumption, I offer a toast for all of us who've made a similar journey and the thankful perspective we now have because of our evolution.

Trump's "supporters" at these rallies are getting worse all the time. The people that hire his "supporters" are slipping lately. Either that, or it's getting more difficult to find anyone willing to be a Trump supporter, even for pay. With all that's been happening to Twitler lately they wouldn't dare have empty seats at any event. They're Trump's security blanket. It's probably the only time he feels wanted and adored lately, even if they have to pay people to do it.

What a loser that jackass is.

A lot of them look awfully young - are they even voters or kids just looking to earn a few bucks? And I don't remember Trump doing well with the youth vote. Maybe older actual supporters or senior paid actors-for-a-day are nervous about attending these "rallies." The fights and violent rhetoric would certainly scare people off. I've also wondered about the "competition" to host the Republican convention. With the types of violent gangs Trump's hateful ramblings have attracted (Charlottesville), why would any American city welcome that type of business opportunity??

So that way I can show it to anyone who ever *DARES* say that Colin Kaepernick is disrespecting the flag. Just wow...
