So about the man in the plaid shirt standing behind Trump at his Montana rally last night who was switched out midway through. It appears the reason is that he was mocking Trump. Here he is mouthing “what?!?” in response to Trump’s ranting commentary:

You can see that many in the crowd were restless and bored. Applause overall was tepid at best. He may be slowly losing his base.

How strange it must be to attend one of these rallies if one is of sound mind.

When I was a teen I would tag along with my friend who would go with her mom to these "prayer meetings" put on by a group of Charismatics, which is a fundamentalist sect of the Catholic Church. Long story short, I felt like a real outsider because I never felt a rush of conviction or any of that. It was interesting, though. Being around a group of people who suddenly start "speaking in tongues" is a trip.

So in a way, I am feeling the plaid shirt guy. He is clearly not a member of the cult.

A young woman, non-threatening by all appearances, came up to him, spoke quietly in his ear, and he walked off.

Compared to some of the removals from Trump's rallys, I don't find it chilling at all - especially in light of the reality that we know Trump pays actors to attend in the first place. His rallys are all theater anyway - they removed an actor who wasn't acting well enough.

His name is Tyler Linfesty.

All three West seniors were ultimately asked to vacate their seats midway through the event by people they believe are Trump campaign staffers. By the end of the rally, the 17-year-olds achieved viral fame on social media.

"I didn't really have a plan," Linfesty said. "I was just going to clap for things I agreed with and not clap for things I didn't agree with."

The "couple" in MAGA hats were actually his two high school buddies. They went together. What a brilliant stunt, we should get more fake Trumpanzees in front of the cameras!

Later Linfesty pinned a stylized rose emblem representing the Democratic Socialists of America to his right breast. The same group of staffers reviewed a photo of the emblem and searched online for more information. A short while later, Linfesty was removed.
