that he brought his sons up front with him, holding their hands, but ignored his daughter. She was leaning affectionately against him, but he still treated her like she was invisible. At least that's what I observed. I really do think this reflects his misogynist nature at its core.

(18,402 posts)1. Well, I commented
earlier in the speech about that. I thought I heard him introduce his wife and "two sons." Then I saw a little girl, and I said to mr. frazzled, "is that his daughter?" Maybe I heard wrong, and I didn't watch until the end, but either he hates his daughter or she's just a niece or tagger on or something.

so I suspect that little girl was his. Whatever, no little girl was presented to the public that I could see.

The family photo is the first one on the right side.
I see a mother who looks like she is crying and forcing a smile at the same time, a father with a somewhat distant expression and hands making fists, parents not touching each other but holding two boys with big smiles on their laps, and a little girl with a half smile not being hugged or held.
Oh, and everyone but the little girl seems to have on a sports-themed top.
