2. I don't know about you

but I have found that those who have had the least amount of training in graphics are usually the ones who broadcast their opinions the loudest.

Let's not follow the advice of those who have a background in art and/or graphics, but instead listen to the loudest, most ignorant people with zero idea of balance, form, color, etc.
