After decades, we get a Democratic Senator in TX, and you want him to leave office right away? Possibly leaving door open for the repub TX Governor to appoint someone? Or have to run another candidate as capable as O'Rourke to replace him?
Much rather have Beto in place for at least the next 6 long years.
