Self praise is no recommendation - he never learned that. In fact he praises himself when he fails abysmally, which is most of the time. He disgusts me.

History is generally unkind to such people. His star may have burned bright for awhile, but after the celebrity fades the truth of him will emerge, and he will forever be held up as an example of how NOT to be a human. I imagine his name will become some sort of a profanity, or turned into a verb denoting some manner of vile behavior.

We have to live with him in the present but future generations will spit on his memory, I am now certain of that. “Greatest Loser of All Time,” his headstone will read.

Can't he EVER think about anyone else? These people are in mortal danger and all he cares about is his "performance" and image.

He is the antithesis of what a leader should be. He instills no confidence. What a hollow shell of a human being.

A delusion is a firmly held belief that is held in contrast to what is generally accepted as reality.

There is obvious nuance because there are more than likely, people who feed Trump the praise he demands and then he can go out and say he is getting praise. However, as Woodward's book shows, Trump holds on to ideas regularly that are wrong and will continue to hold onto them despite any evidence presented. I am not talking about believing in angels or God, or prophets as in religious beliefs which may or may not be provable. I am talking about "Muslims dancing on rooftops in Jersey" or "The WTO is against the United States" when it has ruled in the US's favor more than 85% of the time.

I would argue that he is clinically delusional.

He is stuck to them like glue. E-6000. No matter how much they’d prefer to distance themselves from that pile of goo, he is theirs. So every time he utters the nonsense that seems to spew from his pie hole, it just tightens the bond. It almost makes it worth it to think how far they are going to fall by the time he gets done with them or vice versa. Gonna be a most amazing and spectacular fall. Biggest of all time, of course. Thank you, tRump, for letting us know that you always have the biggest of everything.
