....the White House will bail on Kavanaugh and name Barrett in a heartbeat.

She is just as anti abortion as Kavanaugh, but at least she isn't likely a rapist... and she doesn't likely hold that a President is above the law.

I know it is hard for her, but I hope she shows up Monday... makes the 11 white male GOP senators squirm trying to not come off like misogynist pricks... and ends the Kavanaugh nomination.

If she doesn't show up it will be understandable, but unfortunate... because Kavanaugh will be voted in by the end of next week in that case.

There should be, but won't be.

There will be a hearing on Monday. It will either be with both of them or just Kavanaugh testifying.

If it is just Kavanaugh, his denials will be the only thing people get to see and hear. And he will be confirmed by the end of next week.

Those are the facts of the situation.

Yes, an investigation should happen first... but it isn't going to. Wishful thinking won't keep Kavanaugh off the court.

The ONLY way to stop it, and it is still a longshot, is for her to show up on Monday. Her testimony will be credible, and the White House will bail on Kavanaugh.

We need to quit pretending things will happen that will not. There won't be an investigation.

If she shows up, they'll call her a liar ("What evidence do you have, Dr. Ford? Everyone knows Judge Kavanaugh is an eminent jurist of unimpeachable character and unquestionable integrity...." )

She's out there now, if she doesn't show, this will go down as a failed democratic attempt to get Kavanaugh booted out. It may (my opinion) have an effect on these mid-term elections. She should show with her lawyer and when seated, her lawyer should being a statement thats says she will not testify until a proper FBI investigation has begun.
