2. This was different because it was a legal matter. They went all law and order because

they said he should not be interfering in a legal matter. That the president should not be giving his opinion on such matters. Now we have this loudmouth buffoon.

a lot of their outrage seems fake to me, but their outrage at this struck me as heartfelt.
