(10,578 posts)president would have nominated Brett Kavanaugh. I think EVERY other GOP president would have nominated Brett Kavanaugh in order to pay back Ken Starr, and Kavanaugh, for the work they did in the 1990s.

(27,542 posts)At this point, no matter what the evidence, we still need two or more Republican senators to defect. And Im sure the Pussygrabber-in-Chief wont back down on this not only does he need Kavanaugh to back up his authoritarian view of the presidency, but hell see a defeat on this sort of grounds to be tantamount to a judgment against him personally.

Some people don't like him because he's a showboat, others because he was involving himself in a Mueller trial.
He brought hopes to Americans, as before his Cohen revelations, people were only hearing from Team Trump.
Folks thought his claims might have been false, until they were revealed, then that drew eyes on Cohen.
