With the world as crazy at it is, whether its domestic or international. Captured on video and widely shared on social media, the attack over the weekend on an Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps parade in Iran is both a huge event to pay attention to.
It seems like they came under attack from an Arab group hostile to Iran, with several groups having already claimed responsibility, making the confusion of this attack even more. We have already heard how Isreal attacked Syrian positions, and the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the attack targeted an arms depot near the airport where new weapons recently arrived for the Iranians or their Lebanese proxy, the Hezbollah terror group.
We know that during that strike, a Russian aircraft was shot down accidentally by an outdated Russian S-200 missile battery. Since then Russia has already said they will send Syria the newer S-300 system. This has garnered a response from the United States, and it also is going to affect Isreal in the future if they were to fly more air strikes in Syria. The newer system is obviously going to be harder for the Isreali Air Force to get around. The US will also not be happy with the newer system in an area with US aircraft flying around.
It just seems to me, that there is to much going on that is connected. With both Trump and the Iranian leader in NY for the UN meetings, things could get interesting.

Separation
(1,975 posts)and I haven't quite gotten the knack of writing down quite yet. I still get scatterbrained when writing and it can be sometimes hard to figure out what I'm trying to get across.
I can go from 1st person to third person without missing a beat and it can be a little hard to read

(1,975 posts)Trump already claimed that Iran is high on his list of things to discuss while at the UN. At this poi t I wouldnt even know who Iran would blame this on. Israel, who they are fighting a proxy war in Palestine, Lebanon, and now in Syria. Or Saudi Arabia, who they have been at odds against and are also fighting a proxy way in Yemen. Last but not least, there is always the great satan and the CIA.
I know quite a few Iranians, both who live in and out of Iran. Like with most, they are really good people with a rich culture and history. The government, not so much. Whenever powers that be decide to fight one another, there is only one certainty that will come of it. And that's the people, the regular man, woman, and child. They are always the ones who have the least amount to lose and are asked to lose the most when the bullets start flying.
