WOW, usually a motorist hits a cyclist

we get to report on serious injuries on the cyclist and all that. In this case it was the driver who lost in that encounter.

Sounds like the motorist wasn't wearing a seatbelt.

I recall a bicyclist that was riding on Highway 1 between Castroville and Monterey that was hit and dragged by a semi for about a half-mile. The trucker had NO IDEA. Amazingly, the bicyclist survived.

And both are rare stories.

I agree, don't think the driver was wearing his seat belt.
