3. Remove the word "victim" but there does appear to be a certain linkage.

A classic case of perpetrators protesting too much. Anyone working in the penal system would recognize this mind set.

Cosby received due process and he had highly competent attorneys. If he wants to remain in denial, go for it.

He will not be remembered for being a great man who made people laugh. He will be recalled for being rich and powerful while he abused, drugged and raped women for his pleasure. It was his MO and no revision of history and calling it a sex war will change his legacy.

Until he dies, which will probably be in prison.

I hope all his victims sue his and his complicit family asses into bankruptcy in civil court.

Cosby had already raped a bunch of women. How are they responsible?

No one is going after THEIR money, if they've earned any on their own. They're going after Bill's money. If his children get a smaller inheritance when he dies because of legal settlements, tough shit.

5. In the same way that German soldiers circa 1939-45 were victims of a "war going on"

There has been a "sex war" going on for millennia and women have been losing. The aim of this war has been on the one side, women and their allies trying to get the other side to treat them with respect, dignity, and as true equals. The other side, overwhelmingly men and some women who are in line with them, are trying to maintain a social, political, cultural, and sexual dominance that was established in the earliest societies and maintained through law, culture, religion, etc...

Bill Cosby and Brett Kavanaugh are men who have used their status to violate women both physically and mentally through their own individual actions and through what their getting away with it for so long represents in our society.

From the perspective of men who support the continuance of the status quo, Cosby and Kavanaugh are victims. They are just men who wanted to use women for their own pleasure and those damned women went and told, got believed, and ruined the wonderful lives they had set up for themselves. Victims. Just like the Wehrmacht were the victims of Allied brutality for just wanting to protect the Reich and the status quo. Just like the Confederacy was the victim of Northern aggression for wanting to protect their heritage...of slavery.

We can grant Wyatt his claim, but someone needs to remind him what side of history he is standing on. He is defending men who have used women as objects, as nothing more that tools for the pleasure of men. If he thinks that men receiving justice for objectifying and violating women is some form of victim hood, then we know who he stands with.
