The thing that rankles me most about this sham, and shameful, SCOTUS process is the enormous power wielded by four ancient, white assholes - Hatch, Grassley, McConnell, and Graham - that represent states with a collective 4% of the population of this country - 4%!
Why do we continue to tolerate this gross inequity that renders such power to such a minority? Factor in the percentage of the population of these states that actually voted for these pricks and you'll need a microscope to find them on the map.
We have watched two elections in recent years that were won by a minority of voters. The ridiculous and out-dated Electoral College aside, why do we tolerate this? This is not democracy or anything close to resembling democracy. This is rule by a tiny fraction of extremists who have successfully deceived enough voters into believing their bullshit.
Now we have the added spectacle of the IPOTUS holding rallies full of idiots who are now watching their own moronic idea of government (which is actually the destruction of government) and cheering on an absolute fraud of a person as he continues to bait them.
Yes, we need to vote en masse in November, but we also need to stand up against our country being ruled by a sliver of fools from some of the smallest states in the union.
Win or lose in November, we need to push for the abolition of the Electoral College, term limits for Congress, the Senate, and the Supreme Court, and a reworking of House and Senate rules give power based on seniority rather than any discernible competence.
