By Oliver Willis - September 25, 2018
Rep. Kevin Cramer said a charge of sexual assault should not disqualify a nominee for the Supreme Court.
Rep. Kevin Cramer (R-ND) said that if a Supreme Court nominee like Brett Kavanaugh was guilty of the sexual assault he is accused of, it should not disqualify him from a seat on the highest federal court in the U.S.
Cramers comments reflect the dominant drive among his fellow Republicans to seat Kavanaugh no matter what hes done in the past.
Kavanaugh has been accused of sexual assault by two of his former classmates, Deborah Ramirez and Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.
In a television interview, Cramer argued that, even if the allegations were decisively proven, Kavanaugh should still be seated and given the power to affect millions of lives for generations.

(31,261 posts)There are still a few decent republican men and women that have daughters. If their daughter is assaulted, they would want justice for her and to not see the perpetrator exhalted. They may be only ~15% of republicans, but if they refuse to vote for a vile repug, or pull a switch for the Dem, they turn elections toward the Dem, even in red states.

(872 posts)There was some repub woman on TV saying that a little mischief among boys in college is not a big deal. Sure, if it were their kid, it would be an issue, but Kavanaugh is just a potential SC Justice, so it's ok.

(10,008 posts)Or even the treating women like shit.
It is the fact this asshole lied to the Senate willfully about shit he did not even need to lie about. He knew about hacked emails, he worked to elect a Pryor, etc.
He does not have the character to judge people nor determine what is and is not constitutional. He will just do whatever he is told to do....like he did with his friends. Hey Brett, go harass that girl and jump on her, I dare you. Hey Brett, whip out your dick it will be so funny. Hey Brett, find Roe v Wade unconstitutional and we will forget about paying your debts. Hey Brett, if you make it so the President does not have to answer subpoenas, you will get invited to the best DC parties...and what happens at DC parties, stays at DC parties if you know what we mean...

Ah! Vote Democratic -- it's the highest crime the Greedy Old Perverts can imagine.
