He is probably guilty of at least something in this mess, and even in the extremely unlikely scenario where he is innocent the chances of a false positive are too high. Just doesn't make sense from a risk reward perspective either way.

(12,563 posts)I don't think it would show anything. Pathological liars believe their lies to be the truth, so his body wouldn't register the changes in breathing pattern, heartbeat, perspiration, etc., that a lie detector is designed to measure.
Trump could pass any lie detector test.
