The Kav supporters, i.e., the strong trumpster base, which includes almost all of the roughly 24% of all registered voters who are still Republicans, were already lost to reason. I'm guessing Lindsey Graham's popularity rating, which was very low with them while McCain was alive, is way up now that he's reborn as a warrior for God and Trump.

What matters is the rest of the conservatives, mostly identifying independent now. One of our DUers reported disgust among all her "generally conservative" coworkers after watching Kavanaugh's questioning. Sounds like they weren't fooled by any of it.

If I was in the FBI, I'd be mighty pissed at Trump and his enablers. Not that it would make me skirt the law or anything, but I certainly wouldn't cut the Kave-Man any slack.
