Swetnick, who is represented by Michael Avenatti, said that she heard about six weeks ago that Kavanaugh was being considered. When she heard what happened to Dr. Christine Blasey Ford she thought about some information she recalled from her own youth and decided she would release the information.
Swetnick said she was in community college when she began attending parties. She recalled meeting Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge, who she said, had distinguished faces. She noted that many boys from Georgetown Prep would wear parts of their uniforms to parties.
He was a very aggressive, very sloppy, mean drunk. I saw him go up to girls and paw on them, try to, you know, get a little too handsy, touching them in private parts. I saw him try to shift clothing, Swetnick recalled. I saw him push girls up against walls. He would pretend to stumble into them. He would push his body against them, grope them.
She said that she contacted the police and told her mother about the incident. Swetnick did name an officer she spoke with but he has since died. Montgomery County officials said it could take up to a month for them to locate the records. Shes also named friends that she said can confirm attending the parties.

It's like that song was written for him:
Her little tune is such a happy song
Her son is innocent, he can't do wrong
'Cos Dad's a judge and knows exactly
What the job of judging's all about

(75 posts)Knowing he was a Yale legacy meant he could party to his heart's content and still be admitted. Most of us would be at home studying like crazy every night and participating in school activities very different from Kavanaugh's extra-curricular activities if we knew we had to be good enough to qualify for a Yale admission.
So, no legal consequences, no scholastic consequences, and (because of his privileged background) no financial consequences (no part-time job needed to finance his alcohol, gambling, or drug habits, if any). He would hopefully have been a much better person had he ever had serious consequences in his life.

(31,261 posts)His mom was a bigwig in the power structure. A nobody girl accuses her Ivy League bound son of rape. She uses the good ole boy network to make the incident go away.

Can we please put McCONnell and gang behind bars before they finish destroying the country?

(31,261 posts)Kavanaugh's mom was a judge in the county, judges and police sometime cover for eachother. I could see records with an incident that remotely involved her son vanishing.

(11,088 posts)Only if it means he will likely be impeached or resign after the montgomery police investigation leads to an indictment after we take back the Senate.
A replacement nominee wouldn't give us so many options. Pushing this through could be the Republicans undoing.
