Isn't it a problem that SHitler has been campaigning with NO opposition for 2 YEARS

And will do so for two MORE years at taxpayer expense (flying around on Marine One and AF One to campaign - WE are paying for HIM to campaign).

Meanwhile, there is NO DEMOCRATIC contender/challenger. NOBODY. Democrats haven't chosen nominees for 2020 yet. So Shitler runs around crapping word soup and lies all over America with virtually NO opposition AT ALL.

The media only parrots it for ratings - EVERY. DAY. They sometimes dispute SOME of it.
The Democrats never say a word in opposition (some mild sentiment against what Trump says at his rallies on social media)

Isn't this a a PROBLEM?

SHitler declared himself a candidate for 2020 THE DAY he was sworn in. Since then he has - at taxpayer expense (no idea where his campaign donations are going - into his pocket no doubt), been campaigning EVERY WEEK.

What is THAT going to mean for any Democratic nominee we finally DO get for the 2020 elections?

2. And in those two years, his poll numbers have dropped. Not having an opponent has been a good thing.

There was no one apparent anyway, so let the Primaries play out and with the quality of potential candidates, I'm confident one will emerge that people will get around and support.

brooklynite too. You are ABSOLUTELY right that we have to concentrate on MID-TERMS first! Everything else can wait.

I don't feel quite so worried - you are right OnDoutside, that his ratings are in the crapper. Hopefully the more he runs his mouth the lower they will go. HA.

It peeves me that the dirtbag is running around lying to Americans at taxpayer expense still.

Normally I would be upset that he gets little opposition, but this time I think Dems are kind of smart to let him hang himself. I suspect Mueller will be adding to the carnage, too.

..that he has been able to spew his crap over Twitter without an opposition response. There should be an official Democratic response to every single tweet that he makes. He uses Twitter as his own personal propaganda machine. Democrats need a war room to keep up.

I think he is a pretty solid guy. I think it's a pretty weak shot when people just go to his initials. Not very covert. Not that it is meant to be.

Venezuela and/or Iran. Wouldn't surprise me if there was at least a missile strike into one of those countries. When he did similar in 2017 with Syria, the media covered it round the clock for several days and Trump got a temporary bump in the polls.

Not sure that, absent an unprovoked hostile move against us and/or allies, Trump can easily justify an unprovoked hostile move against Venezuela or Iran. I know that Netanyahu *wants* us to go to war against Iran and knows that he has somebody sympathetic in the WH now, but there's still no way for anybody to justify anything against them.

The idea of somebody "campaigning for re-election" for 4 years is unusual and unprecedented, but the Democrats aren't going to respond by nominating somebody 4 years in advance.
