This is correct, IMO. It's the potential/actual voters who have the real say.

Let us not make the press anything but impartial. It's about democracy. If they lie...then we call them out. If they fail to question and report, we call them out. But if Senators (and I'm a huge fan of Dr. Ford) have already voiced their opinions, then that is the news. The ones who are wavering are, perhaps, are susceptible to reporter's inquiries.
