True, the FBI is worried about the Dems being mad at their performance in this investigation, if D's come to power again.

But that does NOT mean they're doing a thorough job.

Rachel said tonight that Ramirez's attorney gave the FBI names of 20 people who could corroborate her story, but none of them have been interviewed. Also, Elizabeth Rasor, Judge's ex-girlfriend, has been unable to get the FBI to respond to her. (Meanwhile, there are multiple reports today of the investigation being wrapped up tonight or tomorrow.)

I'm paraphrasing, but Brian Williams said that he's talked to FBI people tonight who say that there has been only a very limited expansion of the original investigation, and the FBI is being hamstrung by the limits put on them. That they're not being able to follow leads they would normally follow. That they are being forced to turn away witnesses who turn up at FBI offices to give information.

Maya Wiley looked like she was going to cry. Frank Montoya said he hadn't been this upset since he'd handled a murder investigation of a 6 year old.

We need to get on the phones and email and continue till this is over. Flake, Collins, Murkowski, Manchin, Heidi (don't remember last name) -- they all need to hear from us tonight, tomorrow, the next day -- until this is over.

2. Thing is, and Rachel Maddow alluded to it, no one really knows what is going on.

News reports are from unnamed sources. And like a lot of stuff with trump, people are likely just making stuff up — like they have inside info — that sounds plausible because trump and GOPers are corrupt and unprincipled. Some reports are that they’ve expanded the investigation, others say it was over by 10 tonight.

Personally, I’m going to trust FBI to be professional. If they didn’t interview someone because it was prohibited or there was insufficient time, the report will say so, or should say so.

I have had the most luck with their local offices. Sometimes they are "mailbox full" too. Last night I donated a few dollars to a request from MoveOn.org to help keep the protests going and their phone banks. I wish I could do more, I feel so frustrated!!!!!

And by a very limited investigation will fix it for them , but I can't see all the GOP Senators voting him onto the bench, and maybe even telling McConnell no vote this week or they'll vote against him. The ones that vote for passing him to the bench will be targeted by all women , and men that back their women at the voting booth's this Nov. , and many more now will lose their positions in Congress soon from this. Can't see enough votes , and if their is all hell will break loose again trump and the gop , and it'll be much worse for the gop soon. trump claimed unlimited scope on this which he lied, they were very restricted all along , and trump lied, again. He corrupted the investigation, and the gop are doing nothing against him doing that, yet. This will backfire badly for all of them.
