My spouse did.
We have the same carrier CREDO mobile.

(172,228 posts)Have to find out if they got it. I have an iPhone 6+ and Note 9 & got it on those - apparently twice (back to back)! I have an old S4 that got it but it didn't give an alert sound.

(172,228 posts)People had posted links to downdetector's website tracking AT&T's outages - https://downdetector.com/status/att
(you can see a huge spike right around the time the message went out that lasted a couple hours)
This is one of the reasons they do this type of test to determine the weaknesses of the infrastructure.

(31,237 posts)I still thought I would've had a text message when I turned it on, I have AT&T.

(3,158 posts)I had my phone turned off, as did my twin. When she turned her's on she did get it. I did not, but my hubby got it & it came across the Sirius station he was listening to. I hope it doesn't come in the middle of the night. It would be just like the POS to bedevil me in the middle of the night.

(48,958 posts)I read that some folks with IPhones who have ATT as a carrier didn't get them - but did when they rebooted their phone (ya, that's effective). But I have a Galaxy and am on Sprint. So - call me glad to be under the radar.

(26,656 posts)My wife and I both got it. But she got an Amber alert at roughly the same time period which I did not. We both have the same carrier, same account and have phone numbers one digit apart. My work phone, different carrier, also got the FEMA alert, but did not get the Amber alert.

(4,506 posts)But my sister and my son both got the alert. This is a weird alert system.

(2,795 posts)But I went back into my notifications and it says there was some alert notification. And it's time stamped right while I was texting my son. So not sure. I guess if dumpy starts a fight and his lover Kim jung un and he lobs a missile over, I won't get the alert to duck and cover.
