8. Understand, but WE are the protectors of the 242-year-old

institutions (that's right, isn't it?) of our western liberal democracy? We're not the barbarians trying to destroy them. Fox is trying to whomp them up into the notion that they should swarm and take over.

I do hope those determined to protect our democracy peaceably flood the streets with their principles and get lots of sympathetic press coverage.

THANK YOU, Senator Heitkamp! If I were a person off faith, I'd pray for your principled position to secure your reelection.
