Don't think we weren't energized....We in WI have been in chains for 10 years now...today is so sad for the entire country. We won't be part of any blue wave.

It can be done. Don't give up hope.

(3,479 posts)Sorry, I don't believe that all. Poll after poll showed that GOP voters were more energized in 2016. The opposite is true in 2018.
If we were truly energized in 2016, Hillary Clinton would have shattered Obama's vote total from 2008. Sadly, he still holds the record.
Russia, Comey, 30 years of conservative propoganda, and the electoral college proved too much for HRC to overcome.

According to Greg Palast, the dirty tricks for this election are about the illegal removal of registered voters from the voter registration database in your state. He was interviewed on the radio about 2 weeks ago and here's a great article that sums up that interview nicely guiding voters (with links) about how to check for your registration to avoid being given a NEVER COUNTED provisional ballot on Election Day:
https://www.gregpalast.com/have-you-checked-your-voter-registration-yet/
Apparently there are both state and a federal database that you can check online. Then go to your local Election Board office to correct the problem. Particularly vulnerable states are Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Florida and yes, Wisconsin! We must beat the Repubs at their own game.
Adding this link to check your voter registration in all 50 states:
https://www.vote.org/am-i-registered-to-vote/
Checking your own info and spreading the word about this dirty Republican trick so others can fix their registration or generate a new one in time for Election 2018 in November.
In all the states Hillary "lost", it was all about the tens of thousands of provisional ballots that are almost NEVER, EVER going to be counted! That's how Hillary won, but lost!
