(40,216 posts)Because one of the republican Senators has a daughter getting married tomorrow and would have to fly back rather than stay at the wedding, she is going to vote present so the tally stays the same.
I dont know how I feel about it.

On the other hand, we have a Senator with more than $8M in his treasury for his re-election campaign, his opponent has a mere SIX THOUSAND dollars, and yet he still sends out emails daily pleading for money.
