Scott was all over the airwaves today, wearing his NAVY hat and reading out all the warnings and instructions, specifically toward the panhandle.

I was at my aunt's house, after we went birthday shopping for her. She is now a Republican and was watching the local Fox affiliate. After she raved about Rick Scott being so thoughtful toward the people in Michael's path, I reminded of the 75 times pleading the 5th Amendment. Fortunately a Nelson commercial showed up at exactly the same time with exactly the same message, including pictures of a younger Scott with curly hair on the sides pleading the 5th.

I was there for an hour and couldn't believe the number of political ads from both sides on that channel. It was mostly battling Nelson and Scott commercials but some for Gillum also. There was one anti-Gillum ad.

Anyway, there is no question Rick Scott will milk this hurricane for all its worth and then some. That has been his priority for more than two years, to show up at every Florida tragedy and try to change his image into all-caring.
