I Heard This A.M. That Trump Is Urging People To Vote For Candidates Because The Vote Is For Him....

He's putting himself out there saying that when you vote for this or that candidate - you are really voting for me.

Isn't that risky for him because of all the talk about a 'blue wave'?

If the 'blue wave' materializes - it's going to look like this election was a referendum against Trump. I don't understand why he might be doing that instead of taking a more cautious approach. Unless he knows the fix is in and the Repugs will retain both the House and Senate.

Any thoughts on this?

And "victory" is the term Trump used. Governing is not a fucking game.

2. Because he knows that many of the voters on the R side don't get fired up for their candidates like they do for Trump. He's running into the same problem that Democrats faced in 2010: Obama's popularity in the base wasn't transferable. So if Trump can convince them that voting in November is to save him instead of a vote for a particular candidate, he thinks it'll get them to the polls better.

But if the Republicans get munched next month, nobody will remember that Trump made the mid-terms a referendum on his administration. Anyone with the bad taste to bring it up will be deemed Not Serious, bring out the Civility Scolds, and will never get to go to the swell cocktail parties ever again.

Either the fix is in and Russia will dig deep removing Dem votes, or adding fake repug voters, or he's just delusional or C - both of the above. Sadly, I think it's C, but am just hoping our fervor can outweigh their stealing.
