I've lived with him for fifteen years. From day one he rammed and bullied his way through anything that stood in front of him. He shouted, he pestered, he used every phoney wile in the book to get his own way.
Nothing stands between him and getting what he wants; not me, nor his sister Rosie. Not walls, cushions, mattresses....
He is the most self-opinionated being I've ever met. He shouts me down when I disagree with him. He shouts at me to get up and feed him. He shouts at me to haul him up for a big love, because he's a bit old to jump up like he used to....
. . . . . . .
Don't know how much longer he'll be around. He's been challenging, in the best possible sense. Love ya Nelson.

(18,033 posts)Nelson rushes everyone with a big, 'Play with me'. Once at a weekend craft market a Down syndrome kid made a beeline for him. His parents asked if the kid, Danny, could play with him. Yeah I said - bully but never vicious.
Well those two boys, Nelson and Danny got down on the ground and wrestled and growled at each other and had the best time. Parents thanked me and we all went away happy.

(20,777 posts)at your post. Almost didn't because I've had tRump up to here.
This is a lovey pooch - nothing like that Icky guy.
Those eyes of his - he didn't even need to bully. I'd run to the store to get his fave dog food with one look like that.

(220,253 posts)He looks great too, I love the expression. Two of my dogs have lived past 18, my pup Jack is 12 now, I hope that Nelson has many more years of bullying ahead of him...
