If you're against abortion: DON'T HAVE ONEAlso: on a more combattive note: don't have a sexual relationship with a Republican who votes that way

(6,019 posts)Did a segment on people who won't date anyone from the other party. Their position seemed to be that it was ridiculous cause none of the people they interviewed could give any coherent reasons. Disregarding that voting is about values and dating someone who doesn't share your values doesn't make for long or healthy relationships, my answer to them (had they interviewed me) would have been "I'd never f**k someone who doesn't think I should have the right to choose what happens to my body and if they are pro choice but vote Republican they are even worse because that means that their fiscal priorities trump my body integrity rights"

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
