This happened a few moments after I had hung up from a phone call with a long time friend and fellow DU'er. For a brief second my phone screen had her name and number, then it posted this Russian number: +7 122209307. Curious as to why I was being called from Russia, I answered it and got spam from Medic Alert, if I understood the robot right. Anyone else having this anomalous problem? Does a Russian company own Medic Alert?
I took a screen shot of my phone if anyone wants proof this happened.
Are we being followed and intimidated?

(47,623 posts)It shows the scammers that they have a live one and could redirect to a 900# phone site where you will be charged for the call.

I will go with that. Will breathe easier thinking it was a computer mix up and am checking my paranoia at the door.
