Those people in the newsrooms best get on the stick now that their own lives are endangered.

Go ahead, expose these monsters for what they are.

Unemployment is temporary. Self-respect lasts a lifetime.

4. The WAPO reporters seem very shaken

Many of them knew Khashoggi, and very much understand what happened to him and why.

Trump's eagerness to lick the Saudi royal family is surely noted.

The WAPO just posted Khashoggi's final column-- it's heartbreaking-- about press freedom.

Trump has allied himself with murderers. What can we do with that?

Trump and his enablers may not know this yet, but Khashoggi is turning into every despot's nightmare, one of the few things no dictator can intimidate, lie out of, or effectively fight against: A Martyr.

5. Trump has no forward thinking
Thu Oct 18, 2018, 02:29 AM
Oct 2018

Everything he does is reactionary to events around him and wondering how he can spin those events to his personal benefit. Or he lobs out bombshells to see how every one else reacts.

Trump wings EVERYTHING. He is incapable of forward thinking or planning. It's why his businesses were utter failures and his Twitter stream is an ugly stream of consciousness. There is no filter nor even thinking involved. Planning and discrete messaging is simply beyond him.

Kushner on the other hand....

Let's not give Trump too much credit for being able to think and plan or too little credit for being amoral and focused only on himself. It cannot be stressed enough how much this guy does not care about ANYTHING that isn't about him. Or know about anything that doesn't benefit him. Not only does he have no empathy, he doesn't understand why, or even THAT, other people do.

6. Trump isn't the author of this. He just doesn't give a f*ck because the Saudis give him money.

Trump wouldn't have known who this guy was until somebody asked him or told him.

The sick thing about Trump is that he doesn't care someone was tortured, murdered, and dismembered (not necessarily in that order). Not when "his money" is on the line.

https://www.businessinsider.com/why-jamal-khashoggi-left-saudi-arabia-writing-ban-2018-10

Jamal Khashoggi was barred from writing in Saudi Arabia after he criticized then President-Elect Trump, then left his native country.

Jamal Khashoggi was barred from writing and making public appearances by the Saudi royal family after he criticized President Donald Trump in late 2016.

When Trump gives the same exact excuse as he did for Kavanaugh, "Ya know, I talked to him and he denied it. I believe him." that should have made peoples ears perk up.

Saudi Arabia banned Khashoggi for criticizing Trump in 2016.

Knowing how depraved Trump is. he probably delighted in the journalist's death.
