It was a setup, Mitch was in on it, and the "protester" was a GOP operative or a paid actor.

I looked up the restaurant menu. You can get a dinner for two for less than $40. Mitch and Elaine are worth tens of millions of dollars.

Being that wealthy and high-profile, powerful in Washington, hated by many: are they really likely to eat at a crowded - and inexpensive - restaurant, smack dab in the middle of it? Unless they needed a big audience.

How about the guy standing and shouting? He acts and sounds exactly like a teenager in a high school play, the one who runs in, shouts "what are we gonna do about this?" as an intro to the boys singing We Hate You Conrad.

In any case, it won't be long before we find out who this guy is and how he lost his job - and if we don't, that is more proof that it's a set-up.

My guess was the Oeschli ave location. Perhaps it was in the Highlands location on Bardstown

Either way, I don’t think that Sonofamitch was going to Havana Rumba

He’s the typical Bristol or Ramsi’s type

and I have no idea of neighborhoods, parts of town, or restaurants there. I'll take your word for it.

But McConnell & Chao sitting at a highly visible booth in a restaurant where the employees wear pink T-shirts is a jarring juxtaposition. Not only that, every other public heckling of rethugs involved more than one heckler and the rethug left. I didn't see them get up and leave. Did they not feel threatened?

McConnell apparently has a condo around the corner (info given to me by a former food critic for Louisville’s Courier Journal)

One loud food-grabbing guy does not make a mob, however.

The "protester's" face is everywhere. Right-wing friends are sharing it all over my Facebook feed, trying desperately to identify him. When they find out who he is, he'll get a visit from the police (you can't legally take somebody's food and fling it out the door, among other things) and will likely be fired from his job. At that point, he'll sing, if indeed Mich set him up.
