If the entire Democratic Party was only half as outspoken and half as TOUGH as Bernie...and

half as intelligent and durable as Hillary, and half as charismatic, intelligent, and COOL as Barack, we'd never lose another election again.

Is that too much to ask? We have a lot of good people out there, but are many of them tough enough to bite, scratch, claw, and kick ass in this messed up world we're living in today?

...but then he goes and apologizes and says he feels baed about calling Cruz "Lyin' Ted". Yes, I know that is a Trump line but so fucking what? It makes Cruz look like what he is, which is a spineless, weasely toad of a (barely) human being. So why apologize. Why even take a single fucking second to look backwards and navel gaze at this point?

Hit that piece of shit Cruz with everything he's got. Play ads on a loop of Cruz standing there in silence when asked what he's done for people.....Play ads on a loop of Heidi Cruze complaining that ted's $176K salary isn't enough because they can't buy a vacation home.

Maybe he's doing that, I don't know. I'm not in TX. But the headlines I see today about him apologizing and feeling bad.....that shit does not help.

I'm not inside these campaigns and I'd gather the vast majority of people here are not. But something is not working. The fact that we seem to still be struggling at the polls, in the face of what is going on now is just mind blowing.

We need better candidates. We need better ads. We need better campaign managers.

We need campaigns that will be willing and able to do everything that is needed to bring about a systematic change in perception.

I still know too many Republican or independent voters who hate Trump and what he has done, but who are still willing to vote for other Republican candidates. They are not seeing or making the connection that every Republican at every level is enabling Trump. And honestly, I can't necessarily blame them. I'm not seeing all that many ads or anything that are highlighting those connections. That are tying these Republicans to Trump.

So.....yeah, I don't fucking know. I wish I did. But it's depressing that we are still struggling in light of what has happened since November 2016.

You know why we keep losing election after election? It's because conservatives have an iron grip on the media right now and they're not letting go of it. They can smear and slander anyone they want and people will believe them.

They own the AM dial, they own all our newspapers and TV stations and a good majority of the internet. If we take back the media we can take back this country.
